"Under The Milky Way" by the Church
>From the _Starfish_ album
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
Sometimes when this place gets kind of empty
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
The sound of the breath fades with the light
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
I think about the loveless fascination
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
Under the Milky Way tonight
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
Lower the curtain down on Memphis
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
Lower the curtain down all right
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
I've got no time for private consultation
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
Under the Milky Way tonight
G Fmaj7
Wish I knew what you were looking for
G Fmaj7
Might have known what you would find
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
And it's something quite peculiar
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
Something shimmering and white
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
That leads you here despite your destination
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G
Under the Milky Way tonight
G Fmaj7
Wish I knew what you were looking for
G Fmaj7
Might have known what you would find
G Fmaj7
Wish I knew what you were looking for
G Fmaj7
Might have known what you would find
(bitchin' synth bagpipe solo)

Under the Milky Way tonight (repeat)
Now the chords. There are two guitars. One plays these chords in
open position, and the shapes are as such:
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G C
E-0-----3--------0-----3-----0--
B-1-----3--------1-----3-----1--
G-2-----2--------2-----0-----0--
D-2-----2--------3-----0-----2--
A-0-----0--------------2-----3--
E----------------------3--------
The other guitar is capoed up on the 5th fret, and the chord forms
are these:
Am Am7sus4 Fmaj7 G C
E-5-----5--------5-----5-----8--
B-5-----8--------5-----8-----8--
G-5-----7--------5-----7-----5--
D-7-----5--------7-----5-----5--
A-7-----7--------8-----------7--
E-5-----5--------------------8--
If you plan on playing this with only one guitar, I strongly
recommend using the second set of chords, as the high capoed notes
ring out very nicely and sound more like the whole song in general.
