This is my first tab ever, so be gentle. I am almost positive that all the riffs in this
song are correct though it is obvious if you listen to the song that some riffs at points have
some simple variations which are easy to interpret. There's always been debate over riff 3, but
after hours of listening and playing to the riff, I'm almost positive it is correct. It's a bit
tough to get used to, but if I can play it then certainly anyone can. I suggest listening to the
song in order to get the timing and all that nice stuff correct.
Enjoy the piece and email me if you have changes
or comments. Thanks!

riff 5
[Now it's time to put it all together]
Part 2 - Riff 2 (repeat a lot)
Part 3 - Riff 3 (twice)
Part 4 - Riff 4 (once)
Part 5 - Riff 5 (once)
Dm G
If we stand here together,
F A
And we see the world as one,
Dm G
We may think there's no future,
F A
But it's the same for everyone.
Dm G
It's like the world has lost its head
F A
And it's like all the prophets said
(Riff 1)
But will we arise to a new world?
Dm G
If we stand here together,
F A
We can laugh at what we've done,
Dm G
All our time has been wasted,
F A
And there's nowhere left to run.
Dm G
There may be trouble up ahead
F A
Will we be sleeping in our beds
(riff 4 twice)
Or will we arise to a new world?
(riff 5)
Look for signs and portents
Oh, I'm looking for a reason to believe
Dm G
Will we arise in our time
F A
At the dawn of another meaning?
Dm G
Will we awake at the break
F A
of a Great Hosannah?
Dm G
Well if there's nothing left to do,
F A
Just hold your breath and hope it's true
(riff 4)
That we'll arise to a new world.
Part 1 - riff 2 (repeated a few times)
Part 2 - riff 3
Part 3 - riff 4
Part 4 - riff 5
(riff 5)
Look for signs and portents
Oh, I'm looking for a reason to believe
Dm G
Will we arise in our time
F A
At the dawn of another meaning?
Dm G
Will we awake at the break
F A
of a Great Hosannah?
Dm G
Well if there's nothing left to do,
F A
Just hold your breath and hope it's true
(riff 1)
That we'll arise to a new world.
